Homeschooling Online - The Enki Method
The primary focus of the Enki educational method is the integration of body, mind, and heart through four educational tiers:
- Multicultural curriculum offered through the United Nations International School
- Waldorf Educataion’s integrated arts curriculum
- Traditional Western education models for skill building
- Independent project lessons through several theme studies programs
Using a “Developmental Immersion/Mastery” approach, the method involves immersing a child into the subject matter they study through visual arts, storytelling, music, activities, active projects, and other alternative learning techniques based on their developmental needs and interests. Then they focus on mastering what they learn through discussion, exercises, practice, intellectual exploration, and concrete applications. Neither immersion or mastery is considered more important than the other so students get a more holistic approach to education by centering themselves on their interests and educational needs as befits their age and intellectual/emotional development.
